West Ham United ready to close 33m transfer before Friday – Football Inside

West Ham United are ready to close a deal for Brentford winger Said Benrahma. Sky Sports report that the two clubs have been negotiating a deal for several days and that they have reached advanced talks. A deal is expected before the end of next week. Premier League clubs have until October 16 to sign players from the EFL.

Crystal Palace are also interested in Benrahma but the Eagles are yet to make an official approach for the winger. The report by Sky Sports claims that West Ham and Brentford have reached an agreement on a €33m transfer fee. The Algerian international, who is currently on international duty, will be able to sign a five-year contract with the Hammers.

Benrahma enjoyed an impressive 2019-20 campaign for Brentford, attracting the interest from several Premier League clubs. The Algerian nearly helped the Bees to secure promotion to the top tier of English football. Brentford already saw star forward Ollie Watkins earning himself a transfer to Aston Villa. The Premier League club also completed a deal worth €33m.
